I've read a ton of stuff on Hurricane Katrina but have had a hard time finding photo's, until now. Thought I'd share them.
I sure feel bad for these people, they deserve all the prayers and help they can get.

I can't imagine what it must be like down there.

I know this will seem calous but it's really ignorance - why didn't everybody leave? When you're told it's flooding and you see the water rising, why wait until you have to be rescued from your roof?
That said, I feel very sorry for everyone. This is going to take ages to recover from.
I cannot believe we took so long to help these people. I only had a five dollar bill on me today I donated it to the red cross And I still feel its not enough what if something awfull happens here and us being with remote viliages and all it would be devestating and then to add relief to take 4 days to get here how awfull. My heart goes out to all I pray that the children and all stay strong and safe and they better take care of the poluted water!
